I spoke too soon. Not only are the bugs taking over inside (with no windows open) but Hell arrived today in a big way. The temp about 3 o'clock: 103 according to the outside thermometer that shows on the inside. And no, the sun wasn't shining directly on it like it does about 8 am (skewing the actual temp). The swamp cooler worked as hard as it could to keep the inside cool, but 77 was as low as it would go - yesterday it dropped to 70 with no problem.
So Hell is here, and will be here daily until the Monsoon. Last year, I believe the Monsoon started on July 4 - if we're lucky, it will be around then again this year.
